PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 23, 2026

The short version: We don't know who you are and we don't want to. There are no accounts and no tracking cookies, and your answers never leave your device.
  1. 1. What we don’t collect

There are no accounts, sign-ups or contact forms on Recognize It. We don’t ask for your name, email, phone number or location.

Your answers to the self-reflection questions are worked out on your own device and are never sent to us or saved. When you close or leave the page, they’re gone.

We don’t use advertising, we don’t use tracking cookies, and we don’t sell or share information about visitors.

  2. 2. Anonymous visit counts

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits so we know which pages help people. It works without cookies and doesn’t identify you. It records things like which page was viewed, the website that sent you, your type of browser and device, and your country. It doesn’t store your IP address, and we only ever see totals.

  3. 3. Our hosting provider

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web host, Vercel’s servers briefly process technical information such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. Vercel handles this under its own privacy policy.

  4. 4. Your device can still show you were here

Even though we don't keep information about you, your browser keeps a history of the sites you visit, and someone with access to your phone or computer may be able to see it. A private or incognito window helps. The quick-exit button and the Esc key take you off this site fast, but they don't clear your history. See Get support for more on staying safe online, or use a device the other person can't access.

  5. 5. Links to other sites

When you call or visit an organization we list, their own privacy practices apply. We encourage you to check them, especially if you’re worried about someone monitoring you.

  6. 6. Children

Recognize It is written for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone.

  7. 7. Changes and contact

If our practices change, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
